I’ve always enjoyed those little “connect the dots” books you begged your parents for when you were a child. They’re simple in theory, yet quite complex. They provide children a method of creating an artistic rendering by connecting a logical set of numbered dots. In other words, it’s an art-meets-math, right-brain meets left-brain, concept.
My work is a reflection of this idea. At heart, I’m both a trouble shooter and an artist. A ‘logical’ and a ‘creative’. Everything I design is created with both form and function in mind. It should look nice, but it’s gotta work.
